Hello!
I’m an industrial and 3D designer specializing in design of custom aluminum, aluminum composite, laminate, plastic and wood signs, displays, sculpture, light fixtures, and furniture. I graduated from Iowa State in 2013, with a Bachelor’s of Industrial Design.
My toolbox is made up of a combination of strong technical and creative skills, including 3D modeling and rendering in 3DS Max plus some SolidWorks design and drafting. In addition to creative, I have 3+ years of both project and production management with a small team in a custom manufacturing environment, as well as experience coordinating with engineers, architects, electricians, clients, and installers for project implementation.
Regarding fabricated signs, I’m familiar with ADA, NEC, and UL, and have shop floor experience including low voltage lighting, assembly, finishing, metal and wood fabrication, MIG welding both carbon steel and aluminum, and vinyl graphics application. I am a UL48 certified technical representative for electric signs.
When not working, I like agates, plants, and vintage audio equipment.
